Rides For Good (a program of the Safe Ride Foundation) is a 100% Volunteer-Run organization that helps to provide safe and reliable transportation to elderly or low-income individuals in our area. Whther it’s helping someone get to their doctor’s appointment, shop for groceries, or simply get to or from their job, it’s more than just a ride.
Transporation is such a barrier for many people, and what we help to do is bridge the gap and make all of our community’s human services accessible, for everyone.
Having already provided over 2,000 rides since our inception, it goes without saying that our volunteers are essential to the success of Rides For Good and to the passengers we serve. As a volunteer driver, your schedule is completely flexible, you can do as many or little rides as you’d like, and most importantly, you’ll be making a huge impact for someone who really needs and appreciates it.
